As a premium start-up in the personal-care business, ajen requires a packaging that is tailored to their specific needs. This means the packaging has to be flexible in use, mostly intended for e-commerce (ship-in-own-container) but also usable as a gift or even retail-packaging with a small adjustment.
We created a modular packaging that enables ajen to pack their entire current (but also future) portfolio with a limited amount of packaging parts. No matter if it’s a handsoap starter-set or complete shower-kit: all internal parts are interchangeable until the very last moment before the sale.

The packaging provides protection for the glass and stainless steel bottles during parcel shipments, while embodying the brand by using a carefully selected palette of green colors. By the addition of a colorful sleeve, the e-commerce packaging is easily transformed into a gift-packaging or even retail-packaging.
It’s not just one packaging, it’s a complete packaging system that looks the part and stands out from all other e-commerce boxes that reach our homes. Natural ingredients and sustainability are top-priority for ajen. Therefore the e-commerce box is made from fully recycled (brown) testliner, printed with water based inks. The system reduces the need for dedicated shipping boxes.
